Branding and stationary design for editorial and lifestyle photographer, Leon Foggitt. In an industry so over saturated by photoshop and cheap filters Leon wanted to create a minimal and considered brand image that would help reflect the patience and care he puts into each image. After a number of conversations we decided it would be best to focus on Leon's name in order to communicate the personal connection he feels towards his work and its subjects. After some experimentation and research into the graphic language surrounding photography we arrived at a neat monogram inspired by the marks found within a cameras view finder. When placed over imagery the marque gives the illusion that you are seeing the image from Leon's perspective. In addition we then created a logo type in the same style that works independently and alongside the monogram. His stationary was then printed using a muted colour palette and high end print finishes allowing it to sit harmoniously with Leon's photography.
